Charles watched and heard what his brother said, 'Charles take good care of the ball and hit it'. When the bowler threw the ball, Charles hit it at the right place to get two runs. Some of the people there were amazed that Charles held the bat well.

C.D.Studt's Youth:

Charles D. Studd was born in England in the beginning of 1870 in a rich family. The whole Studt family was living in luxury. 

They loved hunting, cricket, and their father's racehorses. Charles and his brothers spent a lot of time practicing to master the game of cricket. By the time CT Studt was 16, he was very good at cricket, and at 19 he was elected captain of the Eton College cricket team.

While studying at Cambridge University, he wanted to become a lawyer, but an incident in his final year changed all his plans. What happened? 

A powerful evangelist from America, Dwight L. Moody and his colleague Ira Changi came and preached about the Lord Jesus Christ. In one of those meetings, CT Studt's father repented. He started preaching about Christ to others and saw a complete change in his life. He gave away all his race horses to others. 

He vacated a large room in his beautiful house and invited his friends to hold evangelistic meetings there. CD Stud noticed the changes in his father's life but refused to listen to his message. He thought that God was not needed in his life. Suddenly, Stud's father passed away and went to heaven to live with God.

Arrival of C.D. Kristavantai:

C. D. Stutt's brother George became very ill. Not only was he greatly distressed by it, but worldly comforts, influence, a good home, a good education, were the eternal treasures of heaven.Dwight L. Moody held meetings at Cambridge University where CT Studt was staying during George's illness. Many of CT Studt's friends attended the meetings.

They asked C. D. Stutt to attend the meetings. They said the meetings were beneficial. But C. D. Stutt said he did not want to attend the meetings, he did not need the religion and would think about it later. Finally he went to the meetings and after many years of spiritual struggle with hundreds of other students came to Christ. 

He dedicated his life. It was only now that he understood what his father was trying to tell him. He thought how inconsiderate he was not to listen to his father. The experience of salvation thrilled him.He immediately changed his plan to become a lawyer and planned to become a missionary. His family was upset with him as he missed out on a good job and a good salary. 

They gathered to hear him speak. This gave him the opportunity to speak to people who normally did not want to hear a religious message. He was interested in sharing what Jesus had done for him with his friends and peers.

CT Stud in China:

C. D. Studt approached Hudson Taylor, the founder of the China Inland Missionary Institute, and asked him to accept him as a missionary. Taylor gladly accepted. And C. D. Studt persuaded six of his friends to join him. Now these seven have left their business. 

Turning their backs on great wealth, they devoted themselves to proclaiming the Lord to millions of ignorant people in China.

In 1885, CT Studt sailed to China. Immediately after his arrival in the city of Shanghai, China, he began to learn the very difficult Chinese language. He spent seven hours a day learning the language. 

Because of his love for the Chinese people, he began to dress like his mother, eat their food, and associate with them as much as possible. His father had left him a large sum of money. 

.He gave $25,000 to L. Moody, with which D. L. Moody established Moody Theological College in Chicago. The college still exists today. He also sent the same amount to George Mueller to care for countless orphans. 

He also set an example for the employees.

Stud in India and Africa:

Studd suffered from asthma and found it difficult to live in China, so he had to come back to England. It took him six years to recover from that illness. He couldn't wait to go back to serve God. This time he came to the colder climate of India and became a missionary.

Returning from India to England, he decided to go to Africa and ask for the area from the Nile to Niagara to be opened for Christian ministry. God soon blessed his efforts and a ministry was started in Niagara and 12 people were baptized in 1915. Studd returned to England and appealed to many more missionaries to come to Africa in 1916. 

Returned. This process was called "World Wide Evangelisation Crusade". CT Stutt and his wife passed away in Africa. However, Stutt's missionary work continues through this process. God used Stutt to bring many people to Him.And CT Studt was generous in considering the needs of others. Can God give such a good testimony about you?...

'சார்லஸ் பந்தை நன்றாக கவனித்து அடி 'என்று தன் சகோதரன் கூறியதை சார்லஸ் கவனித்துக் கேட்டான்.பந்து வீசுபவர் பந்தை வீசியதும் சார்லஸ் இரண்டு ஓட்டங்கள் கிடைக்கும் விதத்தில் சரியான இடத்தில் அதை அடித்தான்.சார்லஸ் நன்றாக மட்டைப்பிடித்து அடித்தான் என அங்கிருந்த சிலர் வியந்தனர்.

சி.டி.ஸ்டட்டின் இளமைப் பருவம்:

சார்லஸ் டி.ஸ்டட்1870ஆம் ஆண்டின் துவக்கத்தில் இங்கிலாந்து தேசத்தில் ஒரு பணக்காரக்குடும்பத்தில் பிறந்தார்.ஸ்டட் குடும்பம் முழுவதும் சுகபோகத்தில் வாழ்ந்து வந்தனர் . வேட்டையாடுதல் , கிரிக்கெட் மற்றும் அவர்களின் தகப்பனார் வைத்திருந்த பந்தயக் குதிரைகள் ஆகியன அவர்களுக்குப் பிரியம்.சார்லசும்அவரது சகோதரர்களும் கிரிக்கெட் விளையாட்டில் தேர்ச்சி பெற அதிக நேரம் செலவழித்துப் பயிற்சி செய்தனர்.சி.டி.ஸ்டட் 16வயதாகும்போது கிரிக்கெட்டில் மிகவும் வல்லுநராக இருந்தார்.மேலும் 19வயதில் ஈட்டன் கல்லூரி கிரிக்கெட் குழுவிற்கு அவர் தலைவனாகத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டார்.

அவர் கேம்பிரிட்ஜ் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் பயின்று கொண்டிருந்த போது சட்டவியல் வல்லுநராக விரும்பினார்.ஆனால் இறுதியாண்டில் நடந்த ஒரு சம்பவம் அவரின் எல்லா திட்டங்களையும் மாற்றிப் போட்டது.அது என்ன சம்பவம்? அமெரிக்க நாட்டைச் சேர்ந்த வல்லமையான சுவிசேஷகரான ட்வைட் எல்.மூடியும் அவரது உடன் ஊழியர் ஐரா சாங்கியும் வந்து ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவைப் பற்றி அறிவித்தனர்.அந்தக் கூட்டம் ஒன்றில் சி.டி.ஸ்டட்டின் தகப்பனார் மனந்திரும்பினார்.கிறிஸ்துவைப் பற்றி மற்றவர்களுக்கு அறிவிக்க ஆரம்பித்த அவர் வாழ்க்கையில் ஒரு முழு மாறுதல் காணப்பட்டது.அவர் தமது பந்தயக் குதிரைகளையெல்லாம் மற்றவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்து விட்டு தமது அழகான வீட்டிலிருந்த பெரிய அறை ஒன்றினை காலிசெய்து அங்கு சுவிசேஷ கூட்டங்களை நடத்துமாறு தனது நண்பர்களை அழைத்தார்.சி.டி.ஸ்டட்அவரது தந்தையின் வாழ்வில் ஏற்பட்ட மாறுதல்களை கவனித்தாலும் அவரின் செய்தியினைக் கேட்க மறுத்து விட்டார்.அவரின் வாழ்க்கையில் தேவன் தேவையில்லை என்று நினைத்தார்.திடீரென ஸ்டட்டின் தகப்பனார் காலமாகி தேவனோடு வாழ பரலோகம் சென்று விட்டார்.

சி.டி.கிறிஸ்துவண்டை வருதல்:

சி.டி.ஸ்டட்டின் சகோதரர் ஜியார்ஜ் அதிக நோய்வாய்ப்பட்டார்.அவர் அதனால் மிகுந்த மனக்கலக்கமடைந்தது மட்டுமன்றி இவ்வுலக சுகபோகங்கள், செல்வாக்கு,நல்ல வீடு,நல்ல கல்வி ஆகியன பரலோகத்தின் நித்திய பொக்கிஷங்களின் முன் எவ்வித மதிப்புமற்றவை என்று உணர்ந்தார்.ஜியார்ஜ் நோய்வாய்ப்பட்டிருந்த போது சி.டி.ஸ்டட் தங்கியிருந்த கேம்பிரிட்ஜ் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் ட்வைட் எல்.மூடி கூட்டங்களை நடத்தி வந்தார்.சி.டி.ஸ்டட்டின் அநேக நண்பர்கள் அக்கூட்டங்களில் கலந்து கொண்டனர்.

சி.டி.ஸ்டட்டையும் அக்கூட்டங்களில் கலந்து கொள்ளுமாறு அவர்கள் கூறினார்கள்.அக்கூட்டங்கள் பயனுள்ளவை என்றும் கூறினர்.ஆனால் சி.டி.ஸ்டட்டோ தனக்கு அக்கூட்டங்களுக்கு வர விருப்பமில்லை என்றும் அந்த மதம் அவருக்குத் தேவையில்லை என்றும் பின்னர் அதைப்பற்றி யோசிப்பதாகவும் கூறிவிட்டார்.இறுதியில் அவரும் அக்கூட்டங்களுக்குச் சென்று நூற்றுக்கணக்கான மற்ற மாணவர்களுடன் அநேக ஆண்டுகளாக இருந்த மனப்போராட்டத்திற்குப் பின் கிறிஸ்துவுக்கு தன் வாழ்வை அர்ப்பணித்தார்.இப்போதுதான் தனக்கு தனது தகப்பனார் என்ன சொல்ல முற்பட்டார் என அவருக்குப் புரிந்தது.அவரின் தந்தையின் சொல்லைக் கேளாமல் இருந்தது எத்தனை மதியீனம் என நினைத்தார்.இரட்சிப்பின் அனுபவம் அவருக்கு சிலிர்ப்பூட்டியது.உடனடியாக வழக்கறிஞராக விரும்பிய தனது திட்டத்தை மாற்றி மிஷனரியாக மாற திட்டமிட்டார்.நல்ல வேலையையும் நல்ல சம்பளம் கிடைக்கும் வாய்ப்பையும் நழுவ விட்டதால் அவரது குடும்பத்தினர் அவர் மேல் ஆதங்கப்பட்டனர்.ஆனால் அவரோ வாழ்க்கை தனக்குச் சொந்தமல்ல எனவும் அது தேவனுக்கு சொந்தமானதால் தேவன் தனக்குச் செய்ததை எங்கும் கூற ஆரம்பித்தார்.பிரபலமான கிரிக்கெட் வீரராக அவர் விளங்கியதால் அவர் சென்ற இடமெல்லாம் அநேக மக்கள் அவர் பேசுவதைக் கேட்கக் கூடினர்.இங்ஙனம் அவர் சாதாரணமாக மதச் சம்பந்தப்பட்ட செய்தியைக் கேட்க விரும்பாத மக்களிடமும் பேசக் கூடிய வாய்ப்பினைப் பெற்றார்.அவர் தனது நண்பர்களிடமும் தம் வயதைச் சார்ந்தோருக்கும் இயேசு தனக்குச் செய்ததைப் பகிர்ந்து கொள்வதில் ஆர்வம் காட்டினார்.

சீனாவில் சி.டி.ஸ்டட்:

சீனா உள் நாட்டு மிஷனரி ஸ்தாபனத்தை நிறுவியவரான ஹட்சன் டெய்லரை அணுகி தன்னை ஒரு மிஷனரியாக ஏற்றுக் கொள்ளுமாறு சி.டி.ஸ்டட் கேட்டுக் கொண்டார்.டெய்லர் மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் அவரை ஏற்றுக் கொண்டார்.மேலும் சி.டி.ஸ்டட் அவரது நண்பர்களில் ஆறு பேரை அவருடன் சேருமாறு தூண்டினார்.இப்பொழுது இந்த ஏழு பேரும் தங்களுடைய வியாபாரத்தை விட்டு விட்டு பெரும் செல்வத்துக்கு தங்கள் முதுகை காட்டி விட்டு சீனாவிலுள்ள ஆண்டவரைப்பற்றி அறியாத கோடிக்கணக்கான மக்களுக்கு அவரைப் பற்றி அறிவிக்க தங்களை அர்ப்பணம் செய்தனர்.அவர்களை "கேம்பிரிட்ஜ்எழுவர்"என அழைப்பது வழக்கம்.

1885ஆம் ஆண்டில் சி.டி.ஸ்டட் கப்பல் பயணம் செய்து சீனாவை அடைந்தார்.அவர் சீனாவிலுள்ள ஷாங்கை என்ற பட்டணத்திற்கு வந்த உடனேயே மிகவும் கடினமான சீன மொழியை பயில ஆரம்பித்தார்.அவர் இம்மொழியினைப் பயில ஒரு நாளில் நாளில் ஏழு மணி நேரங்கள் செலவழித்தார்.எவ்வளவு சீக்கிரம் பயில முடியுமோ அவ்வளவு சீக்கிரம் அதனைப் பயின்று சீன மக்களுக்கு சுவிசேஷத்தை அறிவிக்க வேண்டும் என்பதில் ஸ்டட் உறுதியாக இருந்தார்.சீன மக்கள் மீது கொண்ட அன்பினால் அம்மக்களைப் போலவே உடுக்கவும் அவர்கள் உணவை உண்ணவும் அவர்களுடன் முடிந்தவரை தம்மை சேர்த்துக் கொள்ளவும் ஆரம்பித்தார்.அவருடைய தகப்பனார் ஒரு பெருந்தொகையை அவருக்காக விட்டுச் சென்றிருந்தார்.வேதாகமத்தை வாசிக்க வாசிக்க தேவையுள்ள மக்களுக்குக் கொடுப்பது எவ்வளவு பாக்கியம் என்பதை ஸ்டட் உணர்ந்தார்.எனவே அவர் தம்மை கிறிஸ்துவில் வழிநடத்திய டி.எல்.மூடிக்கு 25,000டாலர்கள் கொடுத்தார்.இதன் மூலம் டி.எல்.மூடி சிக்காகோ பட்டணத்தில் மூடி வேதாகமக் கல்லூரியை நிறுவினார்.அக்கல்லூரி இன்றும் இருக்கிறது.மேலும் அவர் இதே தொகையை ஜியார்ஜ் முல்லருக்கு எண்ணிலடங்கா அநாதைக் குழந்தைகளை பராமரிக்குமாறு அனுப்பினார்.மேலும் இந்தியாவில் நடக்கும் இரட்சண்ய சேனையின் ஊழியத்திற்காக உதாரத்துவமாகக் கொடுத்தார்.மேலும் அநேக கிறிஸ்துவின் ஊழியர்களுக்கும் உதாரத்துவமாகக் கொடுத்தார்.

இந்தியாவிலும் ஆப்பிரிக்காவிலும் ஸ்டட்:

ஸ்டட் ஆஸ்துமா நோயாளியாக இருந்ததால் சீனாவில் வாழ மிகவும் கஷ்டப்பட்டார்.எனவே அவர் இங்கிலாந்திற்கு திரும்பி வர வேண்டிய சூழ்நிலை ஏற்பட்டது.அந்த நோயிலிருந்து அவர் சுகம் பெற ஆறு ஆண்டுகள் எடுத்தது.தேவனுக்காக ஊழியம் செய்யத் திரும்பிச் செல்ல அவரால் காத்திருக்க முடியவில்லை.இம்முறை அவர் குளிர்ந்த சீதோஷ்ண நிலை கொண்ட இந்தியாவிற்கு வந்து திருச்சபை பணியில் ஈடுபட்டார்.

இந்தியாவிலிருந்து இங்கிலாந்திற்குத் திரும்பிச் சென்றதும் ஆப்பிரிக்காவுக்குச் சென்று நைல் நதியிலிருந்து நயாகரா வரையிலுள்ள பகுதியை கிறிஸ்துவ ஊழியத்திற்காக திறக்குமாறு சொல்லத் தீர்மானித்தார்.விரைவிலேயே தேவன் அவரது முயற்சிகளை ஆசீர்வதித்ததினால் நயாகராவில் ஒரு ஊழியம் ஆரம்பிக்கப்பட்டு 1915ஆம் ஆண்டு 12பேர் ஞானஸ்நானம் பெற்றனர்.ஸ்டட் இங்கிலாந்திற்கு திரும்பி சென்று இன்னும் அநேகர் மிஷனரிகளாக வர வேண்டுகோள் விடுத்தார்.1916ஆம் ஆண்டு அவர் இன்னும் பல மிஷனரிகளுடன் ஆப்பிரிக்கா திரும்பினார்.இவ்வூழியமானது "அகில உலக சுவிசேஷ இயக்கம்"(World Wide Evangelizastion Crusade)என அழைக்கப்பட்டது.சி.டி.ஸ்டட்டும் அவரது மனைவியும் ஆப்பிரிக்காவிலேயே காலமடைந்தனர்.இருப்பினும் இவ்வூழியத்தின் மூலம் ஸ்டட்டின் மிஷனரி பணி தொடர்ந்து நடந்து வருகிறது.அநேகரை தம்மண்டை சேர்த்துக் கொள்ள தேவன் ஸ்டட்டை பயன்படுத்தினார்.மேலும் சி.டி.ஸ்டட் மற்றவர்களின் தேவைகளை கருத்தில் கொண்டு தாராள மனப்பான்மையுடன் விளங்கினார்.இது போன்ற நற்சாட்சியை தேவன் உன்னைப் பற்றி கொடுக்க முடியுமா?...
